Queen of Hearts -Stroke of the Heart | Try your hand at Queen of Hearts

Our “Queen of Hearts” game is just that - a game of chance - where a successful player wins a 50% portion of the money held in a Jackpot and, at the same time, the remaining 50% portion of the Jackpot is awarded to the Kentuckiana Stroke Association, a 501c3 non-profit organization. The game begins with a player buying one or more tickets for $1.00 each. With each ticket sold the Jackpot rises higher and higher.

There is a lot is on the line when the Queen of Hearts raffle drawing happens in Kentuckiana Wednesday evenings.

Here’s how it works:

• The game consists of a shuffled a deck of 52 playing cards including two jokers. Each is placed in a sealed envelope bearing a random number from one to 54.

• Players purchase as many raffle tickets as they would like online. During checkout players note their number(s) choice. For each raffle ticket purchased one of the noted card number choices will be printed.

• Each week, a ticket is drawn randomly from a bin, and the envelope that corresponds with the number on that ticket is opened to reveal the card inside. If it’s the queen of hearts, the ticket holder wins the grand prize, or 50 percent of the total pot before any applicable taxes —each week the jackpot grows.

• If there’s no grand prize winner, the game rolls over with whatever cards are remaining. Kentuckiana Stroke Association will allow Wednesday’s drawing to keep going until the grand prize is nabbed or until the last Wednesday in December*. Drawings may not be held on holidays.

• Because of the draw-down, it’s possible that any subsequent tickets drawn could have selected a card number that corresponds to a number no longer available in the playing deck. If so, the lowest card numbered envelope will be opened.

• Ticket cost $1each and can be purchased until one hour prior to each weeks drawing. Wednesday drawings will be held on Facebook live at https://www.facebook.com/kentuckianastrokeassociation. Winners need not be present.
